Ballymaloe Cottage

Ballymaloe Cottage is a guest house with self-catering accommodation. We have three fully renovated en-suite bedrooms, that can be rented separately or for one larger party of 8. The new large guest kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, luxurious and comfortable.

We are located in walking distance to Ballymaloe House, and very close to Barnabrow House. Shanagarry and Garryvoe Beaches are only a short drive away. We are also in close proximity to Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Ballymaloe Cottage has three guest rooms. The Double Room has one king size bed, the Family Room one king size and one single bed and the Bunk Room three single beds (one being a bunk). All rooms are en-suite and then share the kitchen / lounge / patio area.
Prices vary depending on size of the room and length of stay between 110 and 130€ per night.

The guest area in our house is completely independent from the main house and has its own entrance and parking. Guests enjoy a new kitchen / lounge area with a very comfortable sofa – perfect for that glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and is yours to use. Please also enjoy our beautiful garden with a variety of mature plants, an orchard and bee hives. We hope to add a playground and a greenhouse soon. Next to the guest entrance, you can find your own patio area to enjoy that first coffee in the morning sun.

The outfitting is finished to a high standard, modern and luxurious. All spaces are newly renovated and some of the furniture is bespoke and crafted by the owner. Every bedroom has its own design and outfitting. They are furnished for all potential occasions and offer a large desk / dressing table and sufficient storage options. All bedrooms are en-suite with a newly renovated bathroom that offers fluffy towels and bathrobes and luxurious toiletries.

Feel free to bring your four-legged friend, as long as your dog is friendly to other dogs and children. Dogs are not allowed on the bed and are not to be left alone in the guest area. We offer a dog bed, bowl, towels, treats and a dog shower.
We also offer a cot and a high chair upon request.

We have broadband in the house, so it’s ideal for remote working with fast WiFi. Although we are on the main road between Ballycotton and Midleton, the house and especially the guest area are set back into the garden and you can enjoy a quiet and relaxed stay.
